Karen's January Studio Workshop: Time for Change Saturday and Sunday, January 17 & 18, 2009, 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM A pre-inaugural celebration of our creative instincts. Do something new with watercolor !! Suggested materials - watercolor and brushes, watercolor paper, plywood board for paper support, acrylic medium (matte or gloss), tissue papers, wax paper, acid free glue and whatever else you want to work with. Karen will serve as a guide, catalyst, fellow explorer and provide some structure. Cost: $100 (Note: the workshop is full…but there is a wait list)

You will enjoy the artistic possibilities and freedom of this inventive approach to paint applications with hearty brushes, sensuous sponges, textural tools, and collage elements. This is an opportunity to venture outside the box and enhance your painting repertoire. Some experience with acrylic paint is helpful but not necessary.
